As a Temple University graduate and Ph.D. graduate, she brings advanced educational expertise, research-based practices, and a lifelong commitment to academic excellence into early childhood development.

As both a proud parent and grandparent, she brings genuine warmth, patience, and a caring spirit into the classroom each day. Mrs. Pickens holds a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and has completed extensive professional training in infant care and development. She is passionate about creating a safe, loving, and engaging environment where every child feels secure, valued, and encouraged to grow and thrive.
